The Littlest Hound: A Lovable Italian Greyhound’s Tale by Cassie Garber and her husband Patrick is a lovely story of a tiny Italian greyhound puppy and her life with her new owners. Readers are introduced to Lola’s family on the day they met. It then shows glimpses of Lola’s life as time goes by. We see Lola getting used to her new life and all the surprise changes thrown at them along the way as her family adapts to different situations.
The Littlest Hound by Cassie and Patrick Garber is an adorable story for parents and children alike. Told using a fun rhyming style, the story is also a lot of fun to read aloud! In a touching story for both pet lovers and children in military families, this book tells of Lola’s life beautifully in a way that children can easily relate to and enjoy. The story was well-written and easy to read. I also want to compliment Ana Ristov on her beautiful imagery to illustrate this story! Her artwork is visually pleasing and perfect for delighting parents and children as they read the book. It fits perfectly.”
